    Jesseie raised an interesting point, these self bondage techniques are quite complex and it will take some time to master them. It was more difficult for me since I have to invent them from scratch.

    When I get a chance and have a partner, I will start to pulish some of techniques. As you know, it is quite difficult to tie yourself up, even more difficult to take pictures for them.

    It depends on the type of bondage. Believe or not, the elbow tie is the most difficult in technique but the shortest one to execute. Not sure how many people have tried to tie their elbow together like mine, in general you can’t stay in it too long. I had to develop very efficient sequence of steps to get in and out of quickly (and taking picture).

    For most of other japanese shibari, it will take at least 1/2 hour to complete the bondage and then I can stay in it for a very long time. I am a perfectionlist, just tied up is not my end goal, it has to be pretty as well.

  8. How do you actually take pictures? May be you can leave a camcorder running while you perform, then
    you can take snapshots from the video clips later.
    Of course, resolution won’t be high.

  9. some of original photos I had was from video camera clips, the highest resolution I could get was 640×480. now i have a professional canon 10d, I use the self timer function.

    I do like to build a web site myself, haven’t located the site and software yet. as matter of fact, the web site I am on now just shut down my album, will need to relocate to somewhere. Any one has any suggestion?

  11. You need to locate an ISP that is willing to host somewhat “sensitive” content.

    Before you find such ISP, determine what kind of website do you want. Do you want static content only? or with registration function? with ecommerce capability?

    In the mean time, would you consider starting a group with Yahoo? or a family with Kimo?

  13. I’m usually a lurker, but without seeing the whole process, I’ve got to say these self-bonds are pretty impressive. Of course from your tone it’s probably quite simple if you know the tricks, kind of like magic tricks (magic tie-ups…mmmmmm)…I’d love to learn more. Cheers!

    You are not the first person who doubted about my self bondage techniques, until I proved over and over again with a few fans in New York and Seattle. Being logical does not mean you have to think the same way as every one else. Are you suspecting other self bondage on this web site as well? Mine is simply one step further than normal.

    I will give you a hint, try to tie one end of rope to a pole, and another end to your hands behind your back and then try to wrap the rope around your body and see what you will get.

    Sorry, I can’t type in Chinese.

    To get out of the self bondage, you need to use a slip knot with quick release mechanism.

    Maybe e-picture can translate my technique into chinese and post on this site.

    因為我不會英文，也不確定你看不看得懂中文。
    想寫些東西給你，卻一直沒有動筆。
    你似乎懂中文，因此我可以放心留言給你。

    我稍微自己練習了一下，也只能夠做出後高手小手縛的自縛。
    至於兩隻手臂靠近手臂的自縛，我一直練習不出來。
    兩個手臂靠在一起，手部很容易就麻了。
    而且無法做出任何的動作。
    我很想知道如何做出這樣的自縛。
    請問你可以教我嗎？
    可以說明或是用圖片部分分解的方式。

  29. Hi Nicole,

    I believe that you are referring to the elbow tie where both elbows are bound together. It is the most difficult self bondage I have ever done and is the most enjoyable ones since the idea of that you may not be able to free yourself is very sensational.

    The technique is very complex and is very difficult to demonstrate in picture because I had to take them myself. You are right, it is difficult to stay in the elbow tie for very long time (for me, about 15 minutes). If you make a single mistake, then you would be stuck, and would need someone else to rescue you. This is another reason that I am hesitant to illustrate it.

    Let’s discuss some of details in private.
